Awards for Recognizing the Scientific Contribution

PGGC encourages all the participants to present their best research work to get it recognized. It is not fair to compare the work of a PG student with that of a scientist either in poster or oral presentation. Therefore, PGGC aims to provide a level-playing field by evaluating the research work done by students, PhD scholars, and scientists with PhD separately.

Selection for the Best Research Student Award, Best Research Scholar Award, PGGC Young Scientist Award, will be based on the assessment of poster or oral presentation. No need to apply for the award separately.

Best Research Student Award

The Best Research Student Awards are given to recognize and celebrate the outstanding research contribution of the students in the field of plant genetics and genomics. The award shall consist of a medal and a certificate of appreciation.

Best Research Scholar Award

The Best Research Scholar Awards are given to recognize and celebrate the outstanding research contribution of the PhD scholars in the field of plant genetics and genomics. The award shall consist of a medal and a certificate of appreciation.

PGGC Young Scientist Award

The PGGC Young Scientist Awards are given to recognize young faculties and scientists (age below 40) either in academia or industry with the aim of distinguishing talented scientists of extraordinary promise and creativity who have made notable research contributions in the field of plant genetics and genomics. The award shall consist of a medal and a certificate of appreciation.
